4 - Puma non scherzava

Puma, che ha un passato svizzero, mi aveva detto che non si può avere la lavatrice in casa, ma che ogni condominio ha una sala lavanderia. Io mica ci credevo, pensavo al limite che fosse un'usanza di quei terroni a Losanna. Invece no, è vero. Memore delle parole pumesche ho detto al mio consulente per la casa che ho una lavatrice. Questa la risposta:

Most of the buildings, especially in town, have a "shared laundry". This is a laundry room in the basement with usually a washing machine and I dryer, all the tenants share. This system works brilliantly.

Apartments of the higher end have the laundry in the apartment, usually in one of the bathrooms. Very seldom it occurs that water, trash water and electricity are installed in order to branch your own washing machine.

However: this "plus" is always mentioned as an important selling point in the advert, named for example like "eigener Waschturm in der Wohnung" (with "Waschturm" the lessor means a tower of washing machine and dryer).

So I guess that you will not be able to do a lot with your new machine. But let's see...
